About Us
Established on June 15, 1975, Wallenfang’s of Green Lake is a family-owned business nestled just north of downtown Green Lake on 24 acres of what was once the historic Thrasher farm, which had long been abandoned when purchased by Nolan and Carletta and then lovingly restored with the help of family friend and carpenter, Arnold Alvin. Since that humble beginning in 1975, the business has grown from the cheese haus, ice cream parlor, and antiques shops, to include a gallery loft of fine art and furniture.
Our focus is on creating custom gift boxes, thoughtfully combining cheeses, fruit jams, butters, spreadable cheeses, popcorn, and sausages – all sourced from Wisconsin. Notably, our "baby rice" popcorn variety has gained popularity nationwide.
